A faculty member in psychology and education at Tufts University, Maryanne specializes in the reading brain, global literacy and technology, and language and reading development.
The Interval is the meeting place of The Long Now Foundation, a San Francisco based group that seeks to provide a counterpoint to today’s accelerating culture and help make long-term thinking more common. Long Now President Stewart Brand and board member Paul Saffo have taken part in CASBS programs including the 2015 Behavioral and Social Science Summit, and in the ‘What’s To Become of Work and Workers?’ workshops at the Center.
